GABA (γ-aminobutyric acid) is a very important neurotransmitter that plays an important role in the human body. GABA mainly works in the brain and is the most important inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. Studies have shown that GABA is involved in regulating anxiety and emotional states. GABA can enhance inhibitory signals in the brain and help reduce anxiety and tension. (Figure 1)
Figure 1. Electroencephalogram (EEG) test results. The numerical values represent the mean ± standard deviation of the sleep latency (A), deep non-rapid eye movement (non-REM) sleep latency (B), light non-rapid eye movement sleep time (C), deep non-rapid eye movement sleep time (D), total non-rapid eye movement sleep time (E), rapid eye movement (REM) sleep time (F), awakening frequency (G), sleep efficiency (H), and the change of delta wave power (I) in the first sleep cycle before and after GABA administration. * indicates a significant difference compared with the placebo group (p<0.05)
However, GABA is a neurotransmitter that is naturally secreted in the human body. It has a mature metabolic mechanism in the body. When exogenous GABA enters the body, it is mostly metabolized within 30 minutes to 1 hour. Ordinary GABA supplements cannot provide stable GABA supplementation throughout the night.
Through the MASTER technology, ordinary GABA can achieve sustained release within the body, ensuring a stable supply of GABA throughout the night (Figure 2). This continuous release mechanism enhances overall sleep quality and reduces nocturnal awakenings.
Figure 2. GABA concentration in blood at 30min, 1h, 3h, and 6h after oral administration of MASTER sustained-release GABA and ordinary GABA
Another ingredient that can relieve stress and has a calming effect is casein hydrolyzate, which contains Alpha-casozepine that acts on GABAA receptors. It can effectively relieve stress by reducing cortisol and blood pressure, and improve symptoms such as anxiety and sleep disorders caused by stress1. (Figure 3)
Figure 3. A study of 32 patients with poor sleep (PSQI score greater than 4) showed that casein hydrolysate significantly improved sleep quality after two weeks of use by reducing stress and shortened sleep latency and daytime dysfunction after four weeks of use.
However, casein hydrolysate is a protein substance. During oral dilution, due to the influence of digestive juice components such as gastric acid, its bioavailability in the blood is not high. MASTER technology can significantly improve the bioavailability of casein hydrolysate in the body, thereby reducing the level of steroids in the blood (Figure 4)

NatureU Cheers Friends

Scientific research shows that the main component that causes hangovers is acetaldehyde, although ethanol itself also plays a role. Acetaldehyde is the primary product of ethanol metabolism, has strong toxicity, and is also the main cause of hangover symptoms in humans. The metabolism of acetaldehyde in the human body mainly depends on the acetaldehyde dehydrogenase in the body to oxidize it into acetic acid2. (Figure 1)
Figure 1, metabolic pathway of ethanol in the human body
To alleviate hangover symptoms caused by alcohol consumption, the most direct approach is to accelerate the metabolism of acetaldehyde in the body. Scientific research indicates that magnolol, a component of Magnolia officinalis extract, can directly and stably bind to ALDH2 (acetaldehyde dehydrogenase 2). This binding enhances ALDH2 activity in a dose-dependent manner without altering protein expression, confirming that magnolol can act as a natural ALDH2 agonist. (Figures 2, 3)
Figure 2 Magnolia officinalis (Mag) directly targets ALDH2. The three-dimensional crystal structure of Mag in the ALDH2-Mag complex. Mag is represented by green and hydrogen bonds are represented by red lines. (B) The two-dimensional crystal structure of Mag in the ALDH2-Mag complex.
Figure 3 Magnolia nobile treatment directly increases ALDH2 enzyme activity. (A) Cardiac fibroblasts (CF) were incubated with the indicated doses (5, 10, and 20 μM) of magnolia nobile for 24 h. ALDH2 activity was measured by ELISA at 340 nm. (B) CF were incubated with the indicated doses (5, 10, and 20 μM) of magnolia nobile for 24 h, and then western blotting was performed to detect the expression of ALDH2. (C) Recombinant human ALDH2 was diluted with the indicated doses of magnolia nobile (1, 10, 20, 40, 80, 100, 200, 300, and 400 μM) for 1 h, and then ALDH2 activity was measured.
In addition to magnolol, which can increase the activity of acetaldehyde dehydrogenase, NatureU Cheers Friends also contain turmeric modified with high molecular weight liposomes. Curcumin is a natural plant ingredient with strong antioxidant capacity. However, ordinary curcumin has low water solubility, which affects its absorption in the human body. NatureU uses curcumin optimized with MASTER technology, which can significantly increase the water solubility of curcumin. (Figure 4)

The African mango tree (scientific name: Irvingia gabonensis, English name: African Mango) is an evergreen tree of the family Momordica. It is mainly distributed in tropical humid areas such as central and western Africa and India, and grows naturally in shrubby forests. The African mango tree bears green to yellow mango-like fruits, and the fruits and seeds are used as food. It has long been used as a weight loss herb throughout Africa. Recent studies have shown that African mango tree seed extract is effective for weight loss and metabolic syndrome by improving leptin resistance in the human body. (Figure 1)
Figure 1 Many studies have shown that mango seeds can help overweight people control their weight
Based on ordinary mango seeds, NatureU products use MASTER technology to improve the bioavailability of mango seed extracts in the body, thereby increasing the content of adiponectin in the blood several times. Adiponectin indirectly affects the metabolism of leptin by increasing insulin sensitivity in muscles and liver, allowing leptin to enter the brain and produce a sense of fullness.
Figure 2 Mango seeds improved by MASTER technology can significantly increase the content of adiponectin in the blood.
NatureU MojoMax
The main ingredients of NatureU MojoMax come from Pine bark (Pinus spp.) extract and L-citrulline. Pine bark extract can regulate the production of nitric oxide, which is also related to its mechanism of treating impotence. NO stimulates the formation of guanylate cyclase, which plays a role in relaxing smooth muscle cells and causing penile erection. L-citrulline is a non-protein amino acid. In the body, citrulline is converted into L-arginine, which in turn increases the amount of nitric oxide (NO), helps blood vessels dilate, and allows working muscles to absorb more oxygen and nutrients, overcoming erectile dysfunction1.
A study published in the Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy explored the possibility of overcoming erectile dysfunction (ED) by increasing the amount of endogenous nitric oxide (NO). In the study, 40 men aged between 25 and 45 years old took oral Pine bark extract in combination with L-arginine for three months. The results showed that after one month of treatment with L-arginine, two patients (5%) recovered normal erectile function. In the following month, the combination of L-arginine and Pine bark extract increased the number of men with restored sexual ability to 80%. Finally, after the third month of treatment, 92.5% of the men had normal erections. The study verified that oral Pine bark extract can significantly improve the sexual function of men with ED without any side effects. (Table 1)
Table 1. Clinical changes in erectile dysfunction in 40 patients before and after treatment with L-arginine alone (1 month) and in the second and third months of combined treatment with L-arginine and Pine bark extract.
In a 2019 randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled study of 53 ED patients (32 with diabetes and 21 without diabetes), researchers used the validated International Index of Erectile Function-5 (IIEF-5) questionnaire to survey patients about ED during the 3-month Pine bark extract or placebo intervention and one month after the end of the intervention, and analyzed blood lipids and blood glucose in each group. The results showed that after Pine bark extract treatment, erectile function improved by 22% in the non-diabetic group and by 45% in the diabetic group. In addition, Pine bark extract can lower total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and blood glucose levels in diabetic patients. Blood glucose levels in non-diabetic patients were not affected by Pine bark extract. Placebo had no effect on the monitored parameters in both groups. This study showed the dual improvement effects of Pine bark extract on ED and diabetes. (Figure 1)

L-Citrulline is the precursor of Arginine in the body. The bioavailability of traditional L-Citrulline in the body is limited. After NatureU's MASTER technology improvement, the content of Arginine in the body is twice that of traditional L-Citrulline when taking the same dose of L-Citrulline (3.6g/day) orally (Figure 2)
